Public Performance
| The culminating event of
every PPP is a public performance of some sort. The nature of this performance is
determined by the topic under study, the plans of the learners and the feedback of the
mentor. Open house, parent conference, and other school report events are ideal opportunities to allow public performances before community audiences. Such public performances are refreshing alternatives to traditional parent-teacher meetings as well. The advice contained on this page in no way advises planners to arrange additional after-hour events for contracted employees. In fact, this page advises that events requiring teachers or other professionals to work on days or evenings beyond those already scheduled without additional compensation (at a rate comparable to their normal per diem) not be scheduled. |
